be that way!
Starting out in music ministry and worship
leading, I was full of information from my theological training. But
virtually all of the knowledge I had acquired was serious "nuts and
bolts" wisdom... lots of "WHAT and HOW" but not much "WHY".
Today's world financial institutions find themselves in a major
crisis...but that is not what this article is about! Lately, I have
been asked on several occasions how to minister to someone who is bound
up in some besetting sin or another...

It's the phrase that has been spoken by millions of teenagers to their

music." I probably spoke them myself.
It might as well be
chiseled in stone or nailed to the door of the sanctuary; that’s how
permanent and seemingly sacred the parchment is: Your job description.
In churches everywhere, the same problem exists. The Sunday service
has become the place where all the programs of the church converge and
find their expression. And, with the disappearance of the Sunday evening
service, there is no longer any option available.
